Born in 1972, in the North-East of Alice Springs in the Northern territory of Central Australia, Abie Loy Kemarre (or Abie Loy), an aboriginal painter, belonging to the Anmatyerre group.
Her works are exhibited in great collections in France (Musée des Confluences, Lyon), in Austalia (The Art Gallery of South Australia, The National Gallery of Victoria, The Festival of Arts Foundation Collection, The Adelaide University Art Collection, The Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Commission Collection, Kerry Stokes Collection, Perth), USA (The Levi-Kaplan Collection, Seattle, The Kelton Foundation, Los Angeles) and Japan (Bridgestone Museum of Art, Tokyo).
