Mask from the Dan Guéré tribe; Western Ivory Coast, border region with Liberia.
The shape of the mask is typical of the Dan, while the large animal teeth embellished mouth is characteristic of the Guéré.
The cloth sown into the back of the mask is meant to cover the dancer's face.
