Old zoomorphic of the Baoule ethny, used to dance at the begining of the "Goli" ceremonies.
These masks are regularly repainted, in order to stay "beautiful".
Several layers of paint can be identified on this piece, but the back of the mask, that has a natural patina, shows that it is old and was used.
