Format (at sight): 26.5 x 18.5 cm
Format (frame): 43 x 36 cm
Format (panel): 27.5 x 19.7 cm

Note: a small restoration at the top in the center in the dark part, barely visible.

Despite the cartouche at the bottom of the frame and the annotations on the back, we cannot certify that it is a painting by François-Marius Granet. This very beautiful scene, well framed, is therefore sold as coming from a Granet follower to be identified.
Is it one of his students, Charles Marie Bouton...?
