Mixed media on cardboard, 31.5 x 48 cm, signed, dated (1992) and located (Beaulieu): combustion of a matchbox, collage of a bean and necklace with the addition of a burnt drawing in its center, representing a peacock, signed Anne (daughter of gallery owner Jean Ferrero) and dated (1992).
Mounted in a plexiglass box by Jean Ferrero with his handwritten annotation on the back of the box: "signed combustion, produced in 1992 with a drawing by my daughter Anne, aged 9, executed by César (…) Beaulieu/mer".

Provenance: Ferrero Gallery in Nice (label on the back of the frame).

Jean Ferrero, a famous merchant from Nice, founded his gallery in 1973. He witnessed the birth of the Nice school, of which he became one of the most fervent promoters.
