Okuyi facial mask, from the Punu tribe, Gabon.
This mask is a real beauty with a serene and calm expression.
The face of the mask has 2 colours with scarification in a diamond shape on the forehead. A beautiful dark double headdress.
The mask is finished off with cowry shells, beads and a cap in fibre at the back which is covered with textile.
The whole forms a splendid mask which embodies the ideal icon of feminine beauty.

Total height on the base ; 46 cms
Height of the mask : 30 x 25 x 19 cms
Weight : 1,07 kg for the mask / 1,1 kg for the metal base.
