Dorothea Lange (1895-1965) - Migrant Mother, 1936

One of the most iconic and influential photos of the 20th century: 'Migrant Mother' by Dorothea Lange, made in 1936 during the great depression in the USA. This is a silver gelatin print, a numbered
edition of 15 from 2011 (sold out for quite some years). The print is made by hand in a real darkroom by a craftsman, so it's not a cheap digital reproduction. The print is in very fine condition, it
has never been framed or hung.

Dorothea Lange (Hoboken, New Jersey, 26 May 1895 - 11 October 1965) was an American photographer, best known for her documentary work commissioned by the Farm Security Administration regarding the
effects of the Great Depression. Her most famous picture is titled 'Migrant Mother' (1936), in which Florence Owens Thompson is shown with two of her children.
